The name reflects our desire to work with our customers and clients to ensure that you have the right financial solution for the right reasons to safeguard your financial future. We value the opportunity to talk with you in a face to face environment that suits you - in your home, in your office or at your place of work. You decide what suits you best.

Our aim is for customers to become clients and help the business grow by referring us to other people that they know would value our service. Our business depends on the quality of advice, the relationship with our clients and the value we can bring to your financial planning.

Richard Chamberlain

Financial Adviser

Richard has been working within financial services since 2007. He has helped hundreds of clients achieve their objectives, from buying your first home, protecting your family, retirement or estate planning, he can offer friendly advice and practical solutions, drawing on a wealth of experience.

In a world of call centres and the internet, he is passionate that PlanGuard Finance continues to offer great, jargon-free advice to clients on a face-to face basis.

In his spare time, he enjoys running, mountain biking and performing in a local band.

Michael Muir

Mortgage Adviser

Michael has worked as a mortgage adviser for two decades and brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise.

Known locally as Mickey the Mortgage, he specialises in those complicated cases.

Michael is passionate about music and regularly attends concerts and gigs of even the most obscure bands. He is accompanied in his mortgage dealings by his trusty admin dog

Dave Hookway

Senior Administrator

Dave has worked as an administrator within financial services since studying computing at Coventry University in 2004.

He has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is dedicated to providing top quality administrative support for our clients and advisers.

Dave is a self proclaimed nerd who loves computers and gadgets. He also enjoys playing guitar and is a keen cyclist.
